The Hi-X18 Limited Edition headphones, designed and developed in Austria, are an everyday tool from Austrian Audio's Hi-X series. They deliver the exact sound of the Hi-X20 - that is, improved mids and less sharp highs compared with the Hi-X15 and Hi-X25, resulting in a more balanced and professional sound.
The "High Excursion" driver, developed by Austrian Audio, allows for an optimised airflow. The ring magnet system with a copper-clad aluminium voice coil counteracts the inertia of the driver due to the low moving mass and enables very fast and precise movement. This gives the Hi-X series, and thus the Hi-X18 Limited Edition, a crystal-clear listening experience with clean transients, level peaks and bass. With its low impedance of 25 Ω and the foldable, robust construction with hinges and headband made of solid metal, the headphones are also ideal for on-the-go use.
