„Meine ersten Klavierstücke“ is a collection of 24 lovingly arranged children’s and folk songs, world-famous classical piano pieces and original compositions by the author. It is intended as a meaningful supplement to the successful piano methods „Meine erste Klavierschule“, „Meine zweite Klavierschule“ and „Meine dritte Klavierschule“ and for the first and second year of lessons. The skills already learned are supported and deepened by the pieces, which are written in the keys of C major, F major, G major, A minor and D minor. The original compositions from the fields of Romantic music, Celtic music, film music and boogie-woogie provide variety and playing pleasure. The classical pieces toward the end of the book then already present a small challenge. However, this is gladly taken on with an especially beautiful piano piece like „Die Moldau“ after the first year of lessons. „Meine ersten Klavierstücke“ – a varied, motivating and recommendable supplementary repertoire for teachers, pupils and self-taught students.
