ANSMANN's high‑quality lithium‑ion (Li‑Ion) battery is the ideal replacement for 1.5 V alkaline disposable batteries or rechargeable 1.2 V NiMH cells. While some battery‑powered devices have problems with the lower output voltage of NiMH batteries, the ANSMANN 1.5 V Li‑Ion battery is fully compatible with alkaline cells. In addition to being rechargeable, its built‑in electronics provide a stable output voltage of 1.5 V for over 95% of the operating time. When the battery has about 5% remaining capacity, the output voltage is reduced to 1.1 V to let you know that the battery should be replaced. The constant output voltage of the ANSMANN 1.5 V Li‑Ion battery means, for example, that a torch remains consistently bright, or that a milk frother, electric toy or shaver runs with steady, full power. By contrast, alkaline batteries vary between about 1.6 V when new and around 0.9 V when nearly depleted, so many devices lose power as the cell discharges. Compared with alkaline batteries, the ANSMANN 1.5 V Li‑Ion also offers a major advantage: it can be used across a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C. Especially at low temperatures, alkaline batteries weaken much earlier than the ANSMANN Li‑Ion battery. Typical applications include electric toys, torches, radios, measuring instruments, remote controls, wireless mice and keyboards, trail cameras, game controllers, soap dispensers, electric door locks, wall clocks, weather stations, etc.
Easy charging via USB
Thanks to the integrated USB‑C charging port no extra chargers are required! The appropriate USB‑C cable for each size is included in the delivery. This allows you to charge four AA batteries simultaneously with a single cable. We therefore guarantee safe and simple charging via all available USB power sources such as laptop, powerbank, USB wall or car charger, or built‑in USB chargers in walls or vehicles. The indicator on the battery's positive terminal flashes during charging. Once charging is complete, it remains steadily lit.

The ANSMANN Mignon AA Li‑Ion battery is extremely durable and can be recharged up to 1,500 times even under heavy use. Thanks to very low self‑discharge, the battery retains its energy for a long time even when not in use.
