TritonAudio's FetHead is a high-quality, low-noise, in-line microphone preamplifier. It provides a better sound for ribbon and dynamic microphones. The metal housing contains a balanced 3-pin XLR socket and a balanced 3-pin XLR plug that is robust enough to be used at home, in the studio or on tour. When used with a Shure SM57, for example, the FetHead is more responsive over a wider frequency range. With a high-end dynamic microphone such as a Shure SM7 or Sennheiser MD441, FetHead really shines. Due to its low output, the SM7B requires clear preamplification before most preamps anyway, for which the FetHead is perfectly suited. Ribbon microphones also benefit from much better impedance matching, which takes the strain off the microphone and gives it better transient response. The excellent, low-noise signal amplification of the FetHead also increases the usable range of a ribbon microphone and improves the recording of softer passages. Some ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power. The FetHead's circuitry requires 48 V phantom power, but does not pass it on to the microphone, which means that ribbon microphones are protected when used with the FetHead.

Le (bon) petit boost pour mon sm7b que j'utilise pour enregistrer certaines voix. Avant il fallait que je mette mes autres préamp à fond, du bruit s'ajoutait et ça ne me laissait pas de head room. Maintenant avec le FetHead c'est parfait, il me paraît neutre et ce qui est sûr c'est qu'il est très silencieux (pas de bruit). Livraison de Musik Produktiv très rapide et bien emballée.
Gutes Teil, tut was es soll, nur für mein Begriff zu teuer, aber sonst ok!
