Kawai CA501 B
Product information "Kawai CA501 B"
As the successor to the CA59, the CA501 retains the popular Grand Feel Compact keyboard, but gains the new Shigeru Kawai EX Competition Grand Piano sound with Harmonic Imaging XL technology. The grand used for sampling is a one‑off instrument that is used exclusively at international piano competitions and has been specially prepared for this purpose. This new reproduction of Shigeru Kawai's flagship piano was captured from the player position and is characterised by a brilliant, clear tone with a highly expressive attack.
The CA501's speaker system has been completely redesigned compared with its predecessor and fitted with additional 360° diffusers for the top speakers. This creates an ambience that lets you experience the new SK‑EX Competition Grand sound even more fully. The new PS242 power supply also provides particularly stable performance, supporting the amplifier in all situations and resulting in a clearer sound.
Also new is the integration of the latest Bluetooth generation 5 for Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI, offering lower latency, more stable connections and improved sound quality.
The CA501 features a new intuitive control‑panel design and a clearly readable OLED display.
The cabinet design has also undergone several updates. Notable are the rear‑set pedals for an ergonomic, comfortable position and the new music‑rest pins.
