Product information "Heritage Standard H-535 TCH"
The Heritage H-530 Antique Natural is a prime example of traditional American guitar craftsmanship. Manufactured in the former Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, the H-530 follows in the tradition of the legendary Casino Style Thinline Hollowbody guitars. The laminated maple hollow body is finished in classic antique natural, and the mahogany/rosewood neck is set in. The H-530 is equipped with the best components: Heritage TOM bridge with trapeze tailpiece, Grover tuners, Jescar frets, CTS pots, and a pair of official Lollar Dogear P-90 pickups.
In 1984, Gibson finally closed the doors of its factory at 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and relocated entirely to Nashville, Tennessee. Some of the machinery remained behind, along with a few long-serving and long-established employees who did not want to move to another state. Instead, they wanted to continue the tradition of manufacturing beautiful, high-quality electric guitars in Kalamazoo. In the spring of 1985, they acquired the premises of the iconic factory along with the remaining original tools and equipment. Jim Deurloo, Marv Lamb, and JP Moats, the founders of Heritage, had a combined 84 years of experience in guitar making. Bill Paige and Mike Korpak later joined as co-owners. Mike left Heritage shortly thereafter, and JP Moats sadly passed away in 2015, but Jim, Marv, and Bill are still active in the day-to-day business. The three of them have more than 160 years of knowledge that is passed on to the next generation of guitar builders every day. Since 2016, Bandlab Technologies has held the majority of Heritage shares.
