The small, handy Blues Junior is one of the most popular rehearsal room and club gigamps when it comes to classic Fender Tweed sound. Meanwhile, it is available in the current version IV, in which it is offered some useful updates: Fender uses the new Celestion A-Type speaker for the Blues Junior, a speaker that delivers the magic tone of old, American speakers. The preamp circuit has been modified for a richer fundamental sound and better volume control. The reverb section has also been updated: the reverb now sounds smoother and more natural.

typischer Fender Röhren-Sound und das für wenig Geld. Ich habe die richtige Wahl gemacht.
Ich besaß den Hot Rod Deluxe der 1. Generation und habe diverse Blues Junior Vorgänger in Musikgeschäften getestet. Der BJ IV ist ein Riesensprung nach vorn: warmer und runder Sound und doch Fender-clean, aber nie gläsern oder spitz. Mit dem Fat-Mode drückt es dann noch einmal richtig, für schöne Drive-Sounds! Mehr brauche ich nicht. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Ein klasse Amp in puncto Klang, Optik, Ausstattung. Bringt auch zu Hause Spaß. Gefällt mir besser als der BJ3. Der Hall ist allerdings nicht zufrieden stellend, klingt "aufgesetzt", Gitarrensignal und Hall verschmelzen nicht miteinander. Und zumindest die Röhrensockel der Endstufe müssten zum Wohle der Lebensdauer und Sicherheit - wenn man die günstige Herstellung in Mexico berücksichtigt - Handwired, demnach ohne Platinentechnik eingebaut sein.
