To celebrate the anniversary Dingwall presents the 35th Anniversary Pedal
Behind it is a distortion bass pedal that is limited to 250 copies across Europe. The 35th Anniversary pedal was made in Finland in collaboration with Darkglass. This extremely rugged distortion pedal impresses with a stylish black-and-gold design and — as with Darkglass pedals — with true bypass switching. The control layout is simple. Besides the on/off switch the stompbox only has Drive, Level and Tone controls, which in turn makes operation very easy, especially in hectic live situations.
The distortion pedal for electric bass delivers particularly impressive high-gain sounds, but care was also taken during development to ensure it responds effectively and sensitively to the dynamics of your bass playing even at lower and classic drive levels.

In co-operation with bassist and studio legend Jon Stockman (Karnivool; ) Darkglass Electronics has now designed a kind of preamp with double distortion. Firstly there is the already famous/notorious Darkglass Niveau: excellent workmanship, with a touring-suitable metal housing and super stylistic laser graphics, made in Finland and paired with a wonderful 3-band equalizer plus direct and parallel outputs. The distortion is, as the name suggests, divided into two areas and can be mixed as desired. Alpha is punchy, so defined and tight, Omega is rough and - as is known from Darkglass - brutal.

One special feature of these basses is the use of fanned-fret construction (fanned frets). The frets are set into the fretboard so that the scale length of the low strings is longer than that of the high strings. This gives the low strings more sustain and a tone that is more pitch-accurate.
