Thunderblack® strings are made of a special, very elastic and dense material. Developed by Aquila to guarantee superior performance compared to ordinary polyurethane or silicone strings for U-bass or Ashbory bass. Thundergut offers fast and high tuning stability, higher string tension and sustain as well as easier playability. Its smooth surface will not become sticky or slippery, even when sweat comes into play. Thundergut offers a loud, punchy sound with pronounced highs.
