Equalizers

Graphic equalizers have fixed frequency bands. These models can be read off the position of the EQ's "graphic" on the fader positions. It differs in greater the degree of subdivision into individual bands. Graphic equalizers are often used with Octave or 1/3 octave wide filters. The 1/3 octave equalizer is sometimes referred to as third-EQ and allows - compared to an octave EQ - a targeted embedding liquid solution of the signal.
