SKB has a long tradition of manufacturing lightweight and extremely robust ABS cases for instruments and music equipment. The SKB 61 Hardshell Guitar Case is suitable for SG-style double-cut guitars. The ABS case with aluminum frame is lined with EPS foam on the inside to effectively absorb shocks and other external impacts. With TSA-approved locks, the case can also be taken on flights without any problems. Also suitable for ESP/LTD Viper (not for Viper 12-String and Viper Lefthand). Also a good fit for the Gibson/Epiphone Nighthawk models.

Interkontinentalen Flug im Gepäckraum ohne Kratzer überstanden. Passt nicht perfekt für Epiphone SG400, für Gibson SG aber vermutlich schon. Die Gitarre ist super geschützt, und deutlich handlicher als ein ALU-Flightcase. Allerdings auch nicht ganz leicht.
Ich habe mir dieses Case bestellt da ich relativ Oft auch zu Fuß mit einer meiner SGs unterwegs bin. Alles passt super hinein super case und super stabil. Einziger Minuspunkt bei dem Preis ist die Verarbeitung der Deckel und das Unterteil sind nicht perfekt aufeinander geschweißt sodass man den Deckel immer etwas nachrücken muss. Ich hatte das Problem auch schon bei 2 SKB Flying V Cases. Aber alles in allem ein Super Koffer für SG Gitarren ich habe unter anderem auch eine Gibson SG mit Maestro Vibrola darin was auch super passt und auch eine Custom Shop 61' SG. Also als gute Alternative zu den original Cases welche ich ebenfalls noch habe.
