The Primera series from the French manufacturer Prodipe is aimed specifically at beginners. The body is made of mahogany, the top (soundboard) is spruce. The fretboard is Composite Rosewood, the nut is bone and the neck is also made of mahogany. However, a carbon reinforcement is embedded here which adds almost no weight but gives the neck special stability. In general, materials were chosen for high durability and stability, since beginner instruments are often subjected to heavier wear. These characteristics make the guitars of the Primera series a favourite in the field of classical guitars for beginners.
