The OPUS-QUAD takes a completely new approach to DJ equipment, combining design and playability. This creates an elegant, room-filling musical experience for the audience.
With its matte black finish and earth-coloured slats on the front and sides, the OPUS-QUAD enhances the aesthetic of any environment. The chassis is angled at 5 degrees and the front edge is rounded so you can rest your hands on it comfortably. The recesses and textured surfaces on the outer edges and on top of the jog wheels contribute to the look while providing a secure grip. The colours of the jog-wheel ring lights match the assignable colours you set for each deck, so you always know which deck is playing. All of this helps you perform comfortably, deliver your best performance and excite the crowd with the OPUS-QUAD.

Stand-alone playback with four decks — for versatile DJ performances
As a stand-alone unit, the OPUS-QUAD offers four-deck playback, enabling versatile DJ performances. You can play four tracks on four different decks simultaneously, cue tracks in advance or leave a deck free to drop requests into a set at a moment’s notice — all with a single unit. Each deck can be assigned a different colour that matches the jog-wheel ring illumination, so you always know which deck you’re using.

Professional effects that are easy to use
With the extensive effects of the OPUS-QUAD it’s easy to add texture and tension to your music. Fire up the crowd and give your sound a personal touch with the Beat-FX. The XY pad simplifies control of functions like FX bank and channel selection, as the Beat-FX parameters and the filter cut-off frequency are controlled by movement on the X and Y axes. This makes it possible to mix both effects with a single finger. The popular Smooth Echo function lets you trigger an echo sound simply by moving a fader or knob you’ve previously assigned. Each channel also features Sound Colour FX for even more sound-shaping possibilities.

Supports multiple media — perfect for adapting to different playing styles
Whether you’re playing from a USB stick or large SSD storage, connecting a PC/Mac running DJ software, or using tracks wirelessly from a smartphone via Wi‑Fi® with rekordbox*1 or rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, the OPUS-QUAD is flexible. With a single OPUS-QUAD you can access different music libraries and even pair a mobile device via Bluetooth®/MD radio technology. That’s perfect when you want to add a request to a set quickly.

The unit has four USB inputs in total: 1 x USB Type-C connector for connecting the newest devices, a PC/Mac or, in some cases, a mobile device; 1 x USB Type-A (3.2) connector on the rear for fast communication with an SSD drive or similar device; and 2 x standard USB Type-A connectors on the top.

Fast and precise track browsing — even in the largest collections
With the redesigned user interface featuring an electrostatic touch module you’ll find tracks faster and more precisely than ever before. No matter how large a music collection is, the keyboard on the 10.1-inch touchscreen makes finding tracks a breeze. Playlist Bank enables quick navigation between playlists. Touch Preview offers a preview of tracks while you browse. The new Smart Rotary Selector provides a joystick-like experience with left/right, up/down, rotation and push control. Other controls are neatly arranged around the selector so you can browse your music library, preview and load tracks without moving your hand.

Optimised deck layout and new Smart Cue
The elegant deck layout gives you control over the music. Beside each deck display there are eight Hot Cue buttons above both full-size jog wheels. This layout keeps track information, parameters and the status of individual functions always in view. The new Smart Cue lets you automatically overwrite the current cue position with recalled Hot Cues. This makes using Hot Cues much faster and more intuitive than ever with a single touch.

High-quality, pleasant sound
The OPUS-QUAD was developed with the requirements of the increasingly diverse DJ scene in mind. The new system delivers high sound quality that remains pleasant to the ear over long periods. The device’s configuration eliminates transmission and A/D & D/A conversion losses. Among other components, it uses a high-quality 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology. The result: wherever you play with the OPUS-QUAD, the entire venue will be filled with a pleasant, smooth sound that enhances the spatial experience.
 

Zone output — play different music in different rooms
Thanks to the zone output — which can output a different signal than the master output — you can play different music in different areas with a single OPUS-QUAD. For example, you could connect a phone to the unit via Bluetooth and select a playlist of background music to play quietly in a bar area or second room while tracks from a USB device are mixed in the main room.

Compatible with rekordbox and Serato
The OPUS-QUAD offers plug-and-play compatibility for rekordbox Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro*2. Once you connect a PC/Mac running one of these applications, you’re ready to go. No licence or subscription is required. If you use rekordbox, you can also connect to the rekordbox for iOS/Android mobile app*1.
