Martin's premium classical strings are sonically superior to nylon strings. The company's proprietary synthetic material imitates gut strings, which have existed for centuries. Magnifico™ strings, developed exclusively with Aquila, offer precise intonation and exceptional tuning stability. All nylon guitars made in Nazareth and custom-made nylon guitars are fitted with Martin's Magnifico™ premium classical strings. Unlike Martin's standard classical strings, which have a ball-end, the Magnifico™ classical strings are only offered with the traditional tie-end.

The name of the US company Martin Guitars, actually C.F. Martin & Co., Inc., has stood for the highest quality and innovation in the construction of stringed instruments since 1833. When people think of Martin they immediately think of the acoustic guitar, since the company founder and German emigrant Christian Friedrich Martin gave the instruments the form we still know and appreciate today. Among the company's inventions are the special bracing (X‑bracing), the neck join at the 14th fret and popular body shapes such as the dreadnought guitar.
