The Connect 2 from Lewitt is a well thought-out, powerful audio interface with first-class usability thanks to clever features such as autosetup, 1-click compressor/denoiser, global mute function and more.
With a 72 dB gain reserve, the Connect 2 amplifies even low-level microphones such as an SM7B or various passive ribbon microphones without the need for an additional inline preamp. The autosetup function finds the best setup for your voice. You can refine your sound with three different preamp characteristics: Clear for crystalline clarity, Warm for a vintage tube vibe and Vivid for extra articulation.
The Clipguard protects against distortion caused by overdriving, the Denoiser removes background noise and the Compressor greases up your sound. All this is done at the touch of a button and without delay thanks to DSP!
The user interface of the Connect 2 with the touch wheel in the centre is intuitive and the custom button can be assigned to your liking to further optimise your workflow. All settings can also be controlled from the computer via the Control Centre .
There is also a loopback channel on board, the colour and brightness of the indicator LEDs can be adjusted and the zero-impedance headphone outputs can be set to high-impedance for studio headphones with high impedance.
In addition to the Control Centre software for controlling the interface, licences for the Steinberg Cubase LE and Cubasis LE DAWs and a USB-C cable including adapter to USB-A are also included.
