Now in a new housing: Fulltone Octafuzz OF-2, a copy of the famous Tycobrahe Octavia - cool octave-up sounds àla Hendrix' "Band of Gypsies" and Jeff Beck's "Wired" phase. The toggle switch allows you to choose between the fuzz with added octave and the pure fuzz sound. This makes the pedal considerably more flexible and the fuzz alone sounds really great. The only truly exact copy of the Octavia's circuitry. In its bright blue housing with the white logo, this pedal is the reincarnation of the Tycobrahe.
Fulltone effects are made entirely by hand. Only high-quality materials are used, such as thick copper cables, Switchcraft sockets and, of course, the right transistors (including germanium, etc.) All in all, you get a TONE that you would wish for from many other floor effects.The Fulltone pedals are replicas of the top ten vintage pedals, and they are made by hand in small(est) editions. Company owner Mike Fuller then checks the results with guitarist's ears. His philosophy is: never deliver a pedal that he wouldn't use himself.
