The Fender Player II Modified Telecaster HS is a classic electric guitar for modern guitarists. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" neck profile with a satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood or one-piece maple fretboard with smooth, rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The Player II Modified Telecaster SH features the same specifications as the Player II Modified Telecaster, but with a powerful neck-position humbucker.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and is available in a range of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker offers high output, while the Noiseless pickup provides classic Tele twang and bite, eliminating unwanted noise and feedback. For extra tonal flexibility, the push/pull tone control splits the neck humbucker and lets you access classic Tele neck single-coil tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short-post locking tuners, the TUSQ nut and the modern string tree ensure incredibly stable tuning—even with the most demanding bends or roaring rock leads.
