The BE165-1-0 is a 4-valve euphonium from Besson's New Standard series in the 3+1 arrangement.
This euphonium series has been inspired by its predecessors and therefore has an easy response and excellent projection, as is usual with Besson euphoniums. In addition, the stainless steel valves are very well fitted, resulting in easy and fast playing. The New Standrad euphoniums are comfortable to play, which is good for both the fingers and the embouchure.
The BE165-1-0 also has a removable drip guard underneath the valves. This protects the player's clothing from condensation and is unique in this price range.
