About Arturia

Arturia was founded in 1999 in Grenoble, France, and initially made its name with software emulations of legendary vintage synthesizers. In combination with specially adapted controller keyboards, Arturia created an excellent integration of software and hardware — the V Collection software suite has for years been the industry standard for virtual synthesizers.

With the analogue Brute product line, Arturia scored a surprise coup a few years ago and has since been at the forefront of the analogue synthesizer revival movement. In 2015 the BeatStep Pro became a bestseller in the sequencer/pad controller category. With the flagship synth MatrixBrute and the drum machine DrumBrute, Arturia now stands for flexible, powerful instruments with a distinctive sound and an absolutely intuitive operating concept.

Sublime!

This one has it all. First: it's built incredibly well. High quality material, quite heavy and the wooden accents are beautiful. Keys have some weight and feel perfect. Soundwise I was looking for something that had piano, organs and even Moog-sounds. Well, here you have it. Connect the Astrolab with your Mac/PC and while your browsing through an enormous amount of sounds, you can edit everything, add pedals, effects,... Everything you want. This one is a keeper.
