John Shanks has been working with the Japanese boutique effects manufacturer Vemuram for some time now. The latest coup is the Shanks ODS pedal - a transparent overdrive pedal with a first-class sound and very good dynamics. In addition to the controls for tone, gain and volume, there are also 2 externally accessible trim pots for saturation (gain) and bass.
