The Beta 57 A is a rugged, dynamic microphone with a supercardioid pickup pattern for instrument micing. Especially when it comes to micing acoustic and electric instruments and when used for vocal applications, it provides high versatility. It maintains a true supercardioid pickup pattern throughout its whole frequency range which insures high feedback resistance, maximum isolation from other sound sources and minimum off-axis tone coloration. Its completely new grille design allows optimum utilisation of the proximity effect. The Beta 57A is commonly used for guitar amps, brass and woodwind instruments as well as vocals and speech applications.
