Roland FP-60X BK
Portable piano with an extended sound palette
The portable Roland FP-60X sits below the top models of the FP series in price, yet offers professional performance in an elegant design. The Roland SuperNATURAL piano sound engine, featuring a selection of impressive acoustic pianos, is at the heart of this digital piano. It is equipped with the dynamic PHA-4 Standard keyboard. You can make and save custom settings using the comprehensive Piano Designer function. Ambience effects provide exceptional realism. The wide range of curated sounds from many musical styles is reproduced via a powerful stereo speaker system or, alternatively, through the immersive Headphones 3D Ambience function.
SuperNATURAL and Piano Designer
The models in the FP-60X series use Roland's renowned SuperNATURAL piano technology. Further adjustments for bass, mids and treble can be made via the built-in equaliser. With the Piano Designer you can even fine-tune the sound of each individual note. The new My Stage feature combines specially selected piano sounds with ambience types to create an immersive spatial sound experience — from small studios to large concert halls.
A keyboard like that of a real grand piano
The dynamic PHA-4 Standard keyboard impresses with an excellent playing feel and conveys the hammer action and the tactile response of a high-quality acoustic instrument. The 88 keys have an ivory feel and are full-size.
Powerful speakers and Headphones 3D Ambience
The FP-60X is ideal for practising at home and for performances in front of an audience. The specially developed stereo speaker system impresses with a full, clear sound across the entire range. The Headphones 3D Ambience function, with its immersive sound, gives the impression that the whole instrument is sounding.
Compact and expandable
The drawback of large acoustic uprights and grands is their fixed position in a room. With the portable design of the FP-60X the digital piano can be transported easily and stored when needed. For live gigs or more traditional playing the FP models can be flexibly expanded. In addition to the pedal units KPD-90 and RPU-3, stands such as the KSC-72 and KS-20X are available.
Bluetooth, USB and more
With Bluetooth Audio, songs can be played wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet through the powerful piano speakers and you can play along live. Online piano lessons make practising on the FP-60X easier and more fun. The Bluetooth MIDI function lets you use entertaining composition apps like Apple's GarageBand and Roland Zenbeats. In addition, the FP-60X features a microphone input on the instrument. Vocals can be processed with effects and played back directly through the built-in speakers. Perfect for singer-songwriters and your next gig! With the internal recording function, piano playing and vocals are recorded and can be transferred via USB to a PC for later post-production.

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various musical instruments and studio equipment on 18 April 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to reach the market were the first rhythm machines of the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a decisive influence on the techno, electro and hip-hop scenes. In the mid-1970s the JC-120 Jazz Chorus guitar amplifier was developed, whose ultra-clear sound together with the built-in chorus effect won over both Andy Summers of The Police and Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield of Metallica. Since then and to this day Roland have continuously expanded their catalogue across a wide range of fields such as digital pianos, grooveboxes, e-drums and synthesizers with high-quality and interesting products.
