The PR-12 is one of the most popular Morgan amps – it was also part of blues guitarist Josh Smith's standard equipment. Together with Joe Morgan, the idea arose to tailor a signature version to his needs – the result is the JS-12 Josh Smith SIG. Head Signature Top. Built using classic A/B push/pull technology, the amp uses only the best components, such as Mercury Magnetics transformers, as is standard for Morgan. The basic sound is "black face," but without the typical bass cut at higher volumes. From crystal-clear clean to rich, Californian crunch, everything is possible. The whole thing is packaged in a stylish tweed cabinet.
