Maybach is known for high quality replicas of classical guitar models. The Albatrotz 65 Aged Dark Cherry is based on the characteristic double cutaway guitars from Kalamazoo in the early 1960s. The Albatrotz is a junior style guitar reduced to the essentials: a one-piece mahogany body, a mahogany neck, a simple wrap around bridge and an amper P-90 pickup - more rock'n roll does not go!!

Es ist ein Traum die Maybach aus ihrem Koffer zu holen! Die Gitarre ist perfekt verarbeitet und das ageing wundervoll. Der Sound ist der Hammer! Die Gitarre ist jeden Cent wert. Absolut eine Empfehlung!
Die Gitarre kam schnell! das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Ein sehr schönes ,leichtes Instrument,leichter noch als ein Origal aus dem Customshop,wie das geht bleibt geheim (beide Korpus Mahagony). Die Gitarre kommt in einem wunderschönem Case. Der Sound kann mit der Gibson mithalten,mein Exemplar klingt nicht ganz so scharf/bissig wie das Original,aber das liegt wohl eher,wie ich später fetsstellen musste,am defekten Ton Poti (Lötsockel-also die Platine mit den drei Anschlüssen wackelt,muß ich bei zeiten austauschen) hier wäre eine etwas sorgsamere Endkontrolle hilfreich gewesen. Ich persönlich habe die Tulip Mechaniken gegen Butterbeans ausgetauscht,weil auf eine Junior hgehören nunmal keine Tullips...aber das ist meine Ansicht. Ansonstn ist die Gitarre Technisch einwandfrei,liegt gut in der Hand und ist geschmackvoll und sehr dezent "ge - aged". Ich habe der Bridge im Zuge der Mechanik Nachrüstung nochmal ein kurzes Säure Dampfbad spendiert. Mittlerweile habe ich mich auch an den Sound gewöhnt,der Abstand schärfeweise zur Gibson ist wirklich minimal und mal sehen, was der Potitaudsch noch bringt! Ansonsten, wem ne gibson zu teuer ist...KAUFEN!!! Maybach wird sicher ein großer name in Zukunft...die Älteren von uns erinnern sich noch an eine damals neue Firma Namens Ibanez???
