J. Rockett Audio Designs Hot Rubber Monkey V2
Product information "J. Rockett Audio Designs Hot Rubber Monkey V2"
With "The Dude" pedal, J. Rockett Audio has already managed to pack the sound of the legendary D-Style ODS amp into a handy amp-in-a-box pedal. Alexander "don't call me Howard" D. offered an EQ modification for his ridiculously expensive amp that is supposed to give the amp a Hot Rodded Marshall sound. The Hot Rubber Monkey pedal is this modification – compared to The Dude pedal, the Hot Rubber Monkey pedal is more aggressive and British. The Rockett pedal is also in the premier league when it comes to dynamics and the reproduction of the feel of playing. The current V2 version impresses with its authentic sound, selected NOS components and first-class dynamics. J. Rockett had a rare original amp at his disposal when developing the circuit.
