PRS CE 24
In 1988 PRS released the first CE guitar. Now the CE 24 brings the classic bolt-on neck feel to new PRS guitars. It relies on a time-honoured construction with a mahogany body and maple top. The neck is maple and sports a rosewood fretboard with 24 frets. PRS's classic bird inlay design of course returns. The guitars' electronics consist of two 85/15 humbuckers, which legend has it were based on a design by Sterling Ball for Eddie Van Halen.
The CE 24 guitars are hand-built in the same guitar workshop as the PRS Private Stock guitars in Stevensville, Maryland. That means these guitars are made to the highest quality standards.
