Gretsch Acoustic
Gretsch Guitars is primarily known for outstanding electric instruments, but they also build very good and unique steel‑string acoustic guitars. The guitars of the Gretsch Acoustics Collection impress with their distinctive, modern look and the high-quality workmanship typical of Gretsch, making them perfect for the stage.
The extraordinary look of the Acoustic models is based on the specifications of the Gretsch Rancher, a well-known jumbo acoustic from the 1950s. Like that historic model, the modernised Rancher models feature the characteristic triangular soundhole. This feature is intended to help prevent feedback and improve projection. For perfect stage sound every guitar in the Acoustic Collection is fitted with a pickup; some models even come equipped with Gretsch humbuckers, which are usually used on electric guitars.
For the Acoustics Collection, exciting new colours have been introduced to wonderfully complement the instruments' modern appearance. Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays, as also found on the 1950s Rancher, vintage-style headstocks in the Gretsch 50s and 60s style and Gretsch Knurled Strap Retainer Knobs as strap pins complete the distinctive look.
