Hardly any other sound has characterised the 80s and 90s as much as the characteristic high-gain lead sound of the legendary Soldano SLO (Super Lead Overdrive) amp - a 100-watt powerhouse with a big price tag. But Soldano has a heart for less well-heeled guitarists: the SLO pedal reproduces this magical sound with flying colours! The single-channel pedal has an effective 3-band EQ + Presence Control, and the Deep switch familiar from the amp is also on board. The sound is as you would expect: singing high gain lead sound with dynamics, assertive and clearly defined. The whole thing has a classic Soldano look.

Dem Hype um das Pedal war ich verfallen, das gebe ich zu. Verarbeitung ist top, keine Frage. Was da aber an Sound rauskommen soll weiß ich nicht. Egal wie es angetestet wurde: Sound in/aus einer Plastikdose. Schwach in den Bässen (trotz zusätzlichem Schalter zur Bassanhebung), wenig dynamisch und einfach schwach auf der Brust. Der Sound klang furchtbar nach Transistor. Lediglich vor dem häuslichen Übungscombo bei schwacher Lautstärke tönte es brauchbar. Ich hab nie ein SLO Topteil testen dürfen, ich hoffe aber, es klingt besser. Das Pedal tut dem Namen Soldano keinen Gefallen. Keine Empfehlung, wurde auch sofort eingetauscht dank super MP-Service.

Dit pedaal is beter dan de mini Soldano. Heb beiden geprobeerd en deze blijft. Goede service van MP!
Excellente overdrive mais surtout sur canal clean assez bright. Notes détachées même avec beaucoup de gain. Quels que soient les réglages, le son est bon, mais c'est entre 11h et 14 h que c'est le meilleur ! Avec un bon ampli à lampes, on peut carrément approcher le son Soldano en tweakant un peu (voir sur youtube). Pour envoyer du lourd je la trouve même meilleure que ma EVH 5150 overdrive qui pourtant fait référence quand on veut du hi-gain sans le bruit.
SLO Sound zu fairem Preis. Von Crunch bis High Gain ist grundsätzlich alles drin. Presence Regelung ist zudem echt cool.
Une grande versatilité du clean au drive , bonne dynamique , équalisation performante ...le grain original de l'ampli bref un sans faute .
Great pedal, very small size, but wow, what a sound ! probably very well suited to heavy stuff à la Van Halen, Extreme and so other much loved 90's bands. I purchased it in order to add the 90's Clapton sound to my pedalboard. Geat stuff.
Puissance et qualité du son.
Unfassbar geiles Zerrpedal. Von Crunch bis ultra-slammy Death-Metal alles drin und dabei immer ein unglaublich schöner sauberer und nicht matschender Sound. Ganz ganz großes Kino!
