With the Premium reeds, Henri SELMER Paris returns to its roots dating back to 1885 and has resumed production of cane reeds for clarinet and saxophone. Generations of musicians have used SELMER reeds, as they were renowned for their reliability and powerful sound. Consistent reed-to-reed quality is ensured by modern manufacturing with a laser-checked cut.
The new Premium reeds are made from organically cultivated "Arundo Donax" cane, which is allowed to grow wild and for one year longer than comparable cane plants. This results in an increased fibre density and thus more stability, durability and a powerful, distinctive projection of tone.
But these reeds can do much more. They combine musical performance with responsibility for the environment! The completely plastic-free and eco-friendly packaging reflects SELMER's commitment to sustainability. The perfect harmony between music and protecting our planet!
