The NUX Mod Core Deluxe MKII is a modulation pedal with 8 different modes. These can be switched in an instant via the Type rotary switch. The pedal offers advanced signal routing thanks to the integrated send-and-return routing. This allows you to split the mono signal easily to create individual effect loops!
Additionally you can run two signals in parallel and use the Tweak control in Alt mode to mix the signals. Simply set the 3-way toggle switch to the desired position and youre ready to go.
The ST.CH mode is inspired by a classic stereo chorus that has a wonderful sound. Weve consolidated the controls by removing the Bass and Treble knobs, which are now internally set to the centre position, and weve completely eliminated the need for a bass filter, which is now automatically corrected by the advances of Core-Image™ sound modelling.
The CE-1 mode is based on another legendary unit that was introduced in 1976 as the scenes first chorus pedal. Before that the effect was only available as a fixed feature in a classic jazz amp. The Nux Mod Core Deluxe MKII reproduces the characteristics of that unit exactly: the special warmth of a laid-back jazz sound that automatically elevates your tone into something special.
The SCF mode is a tribute to a stereo chorus flanger, one of the best modulation pedals ever made. It delivers a smooth, wide chorus sound. In addition the flanger provides another effect. A flanger is based on the same principle as a chorus, but here the signal can be regenerated (like a delay with feedback), producing a pronounced, ringing effect.
The U-VIBE sound mode is inspired by a classic from the 90s known for its breathtaking, unique sound. The pedal produced a huge 3D sound by simulating the physical rotating-speaker effect; that beautiful and unforgettable sound often associated with Hendrixs contorted facial expressions during his stage performances in the 60s.
