To consistently ensure top quality, the blanks are already weighed before processing begins and assigned to a stick model according to weight—i.e. the model the blank is intended to become. This is what sets Meinl sticks apart in a special way, because this additional step ensures that fluctuations in the wood can be reliably compensated for and two pairs of sticks will exhibit the same characteristics even if they are purchased years apart. This ensures the same playing feel and the same sound for every pair.
The highest quality standards are further guaranteed in the manufacturing process by highly precise CNC turning lathes. In addition to classic drumsticks, the range also includes various unique multirods, brushes and mallets to meet every requirement for dynamics and articulation around percussion and drum kit.
