Product information "Meinl Percussion TMCP - Cajon pedal"
The new TMCP Cajon Pedal Meinl opens up new creative possibilities for Cajon players. Thus for example a continuous bass beat played on the pedal while both hands are free for complex or slap tone patterns or for other instruments such as shakers or the like. Quite so, as would be the case with a conventional drum kit. The soft beater with adjustable spring tension, the smooth-running cable and the stable attachment help to create a smooth, while always precise feel.

Only in this way can Meinl Percussion live up to its own standards and satisfy everyone, from beginners to the professional musicians on the world’s biggest stages. Behind the name "Meinl Percussion" stands an experienced team of product developers, marketing specialists and sales experts who, in close collaboration with artists such as Diego Galé and Luis Conte, work tirelessly to improve the products and expand the range so that virtually every wish and requirement of musicians worldwide can be met in the future and the company can continue to be a pioneer in innovation and assortment.
With cajons, one of the most widespread percussion instruments, Meinl offers a spectrum of designs that is hard to beat. With the cajons of the Snarecraft Series, which are particularly suitable for beginners, no compromises are made in terms of materials or workmanship despite the affordable price. The bodies of these cajons, as well as those of the midrange cajons in the Woodcraft and Woodcraft Professional Series, are made from high-quality Baltic birch in Europe. These series also offer a wide selection of playing surfaces made from exotic woods to provide a broad palette of different tones. The Artisan Edition cajons are the spearhead of cajon craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Spain in collaboration with cajon master José Hernandes Diaz Pepote, these cajons leave nothing to be desired in terms of looks, sound and workmanship and get the best out of the possibilities of this versatile instrument. Even here, at the top end of exclusivity, individuality and choice are not lacking. In total, seven series are built by Pepote for Meinl in Spain. All models, from the affordable Tango Line to the highly professional Martinete Line, are individually crafted with uncompromising workmanship and, alongside flawless finishing of the finest woods, deliver a highly precise response that conveys the groove, soul and emotion of playing effortlessly to fellow musicians and the audience.
