The MAUI 28 G3 delivers a large, powerful and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), which is convincing in all applications: as a main PA for concerts, as a sound system for mobile DJs or as a sound system at weddings, company parties and other events.
With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminium column elements in the MAUI G3 series are located at the front edge of the subwoofer, which further enhances the seamless visual impression. The columns contain 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers which, in combination with the innovative phase plug design and the 2 x 1'' tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. In addition, the BEM-optimised waveguide in front of the tweeters transports the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.
The crossover point, the transition between the mid-range and tweeter speakers, has also been optimised to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations and make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: a particularly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments over the entire 120° x 30° dispersion range.
The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 are designed as cardioid speakers. This ensures controlled low-mid frequencies at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, as well as a clean stage sound field.
With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the audibly more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be boosted by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely hard-wearing polyurea coating of the subwoofer can easily withstand even the toughest demands on the road.
The MAUI 28 G3 is a real sound machine, but also impresses with its practical features for everyday use by DJs, musicians and technicians. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 and AAC coding, the column PA becomes a versatile sound system. Transport is simple as usual, while the improved, invisible connectors between the elements provide increased stability during set-up - nothing can upset the MAUI so easily...
