The guys at Göldo are now the leading minds when it comes to innovative hardware. Göldo claims to have learned from a reliable source that Ted McCarty's original Tune-O-Matic bridge was equipped with a small spring for each saddle, but that this was then discarded in favor of the infamous continuous "wobble spring." Göldo has taken up this idea again with the 3-Point Vario Bridge Gold and has transformed the originally mechanically unconvincing variant into a mechanical masterpiece. The string saddles are made of stainless steel, which ensures long durability and the best vibration transmission. The saddles rest on three points (hence the name! ) and the screw for the octave adjustment does not touch the opposite side of the bridge, so that the entire construction is absolutely "rattle-free". One of the two milled slots for the retaining bolts is oval, and a grub screw is used to adjust the bolt spacing – this means that the 3-Point Vario bridge fits almost all guitars equipped with a conventional Tune-O-Matic bridge!
