Product information "Eastman MD305E-SB"
The Eastman MD305E-SB is an A-style bluegrass mandolin with a maple body and spruce top. A maple neck with a 23-fret ebony fretboard ensures excellent playability. The Eastman MD305E-SB not only impresses with its solid construction and outstanding tone, but also convinces with its distinctive look. The satin sunburst finish is a real eye-catcher!
For perfect amplified sound it is fitted with a K&K Duotone pickup.
Simple design without compromises in quality and tone: A-style or teardrop mandolins offer the advantage of a great mandolin without the additional cost involved in constructing an F-style instrument. Their bright tone makes them a popular choice in classical, folk and Celtic genres.
Mandolins with F-holes are also known to have more trebles and a more percussive tone than instruments with oval soundholes. They are the first choice in ensembles where competing for volume can be an issue.

The guitar workshop Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni in Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and double basses. Because the traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the workshop quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars.
These instruments are created with the same craft skill and precise workmanship as the string instruments, which makes the semi-acoustic models a definite recommendation to try for all jazz and blues guitarists searching for a new instrument. The semi-acoustic guitars are available as Thinline, Archtop and even as a Signature Archtop model. Depending on preference you can then choose between All Solid Carved, Solid Carved Top and laminate models.
The high-quality solid-body guitars in LP style are similar. These are also divided into three levels. The choice is between guitars with Antique Varnish, Truetone Gloss and Truetone Vintage Gloss finishes, with the Antique Varnish finish being inspired by violin making and delivering a full, open and resonant tone.
Fans of acoustic guitars can enjoy the largest selection from Eastman Guitars.
Besides the many different guitar shapes like Dreadnought, Grand Auditorium, Orchestra and Jumbo or OO, Parlor, Travel and further exotics such as Cabaret and Gypsy-Jazz, the western acoustics also differ in their build quality levels and finishes. Among the most popular are the Traditional, AC and the Antique Varnish series.
No matter which instrument you ultimately choose from the guitar workshop Eastman Guitars, you receive a high-quality piece of craftsmanship made from fine tonewoods and convincing with an excellent sound.
