The guitar workshop Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni in Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and double basses. Because the traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the workshop quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars.

The semi-acoustic guitars are available as Thinline, Archtop and even as a Signature Archtop model. Depending on preference you can then choose between All Solid Carved, Solid Carved Top and laminate models.

The choice is between guitars with Antique Varnish, Truetone Gloss and Truetone Vintage Gloss finishes, with the Antique Varnish finish being inspired by violin making and delivering a full, open and resonant tone.
