Il produttore giapponese di strumenti Ibanez vanta una lunga tradizione nella costruzione di chitarre e bassi. As a lefty there are few choices when it comes to a short scale bass, after reading reviews I settled on the Mikro. It arrived very well packed which was a blessing as the delivery driver had dropped it over my fence and left it during heavy rain. I’m impressed with the quality, it did require some minor adjustment on the saddle to improve intonation and remove a buzz but this is to be expected. I’m very happy.

Despite it’s price and size, this bass sounds great and plays well. You can’t go wrong here. The Mic is about as big as your regular electric guitar, but lighter. Highly recommended if you just need a bass next to your guitars. Hats off to MP for their quick response to send this one to me.
I was looking for a short scale bass because I used to have a Fender Musicmaster back in the 70s. Left handed Musicmasters are rare and expensive so I went for this one. Just make sure you change the strings because those supplied are cr*p - I put Picato flatwounds on it and it was transformed.
Einen Linkshänder Bass für Kinder zu kaufen ist schon speziell, aber der Ibanez ist jeden Cent wert.
