NUX NMP-2 footswitch – More than just a 2‑way switch
The NUX NMP-2 is not an ordinary footswitch – it offers smart functions and three versatile operating modes that go far beyond the capabilities of conventional 2‑way footswitches.
Three clever modes for maximum flexibility:
- Open Mode (active): Sends a switch command only when the switch is pressed – ideal for precise control. The LED indicators light up when power is supplied.
- Closed Mode (passive): Provides the same switching function – but without power supply and LED indicators.
- Latch Mode: Classic "latch" function where the switch stays on or off until pressed again – perfect for traditional applications.
Universally usable:
The NMP-2 can be used with any amplifier, effects pedal, keyboard or synthesizer that has a 6.35 mm jack for footswitches. It pairs especially well with products such as the NUX Loop Core Deluxe, NUX JTC Drum & Loop PRO and the NUX Cerberus.
