The classic British sounds from the early days of rock music in the late 60s and 70s are more popular than ever - a ripped Plexi top - all blown up to 11 with a booster - pure rock'n roll! Carl Martin has packed this legendary sound into his PlexiRanger pedal. The pedal consists of 2 sections: the Plexi Drive section for a classic British full stack sound and a Boost section that packs a punch! In the boost section, 2 different boost circuits are available, which can be mixed continuously. A clean boost with up to 15 dB boost and the range boost, whose centre frequency can be set between 250 Hz and 5 kHz for classic treble and mid-boost sounds. The pedal covers a very wide range of classic sounds - from light "Malcolm style" crunch to rich heavy crunch to 80's high gain, depending on the booster setting. The PlexiRanger works internally with 12 volts operating voltage for an extended headroom. The booster can also be controlled remotely from a MIDI switcher or external footswitch via the remote input.
