Gibson L-00
Already in the 1930s Gibson began building the L-00 series, but production unfortunately had to be stopped in 1945. With the re-release of the L-00 series, Gibson pays full tribute to the original acoustic guitars, hand-crafted in the USA by highly skilled luthiers from the finest woods. The L-00 series includes several variations of acoustic guitars.
The entry model into the small-body guitar family is the Studio version. These guitars are available in two different woods: one with a walnut top and back, and the other with a rosewood top and back. Both versions come with a pickup system pre-installed, which depending on the model is either a Fishman system or an LR Braggs.
The standard version of the L-00 series features a Sitka spruce top combined with mahogany back and sides. An LR Braggs pickup system is also already installed.
The next step in the L-00 series are the Original models, which are closely modelled on the originals from the 1930s and 40s, even bringing back the old Gibson logo.
At the top are the Custom Shop masterpieces of the Deluxe series. The unique guitars with a Sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides also feature an LR Braggs pickup system. They impress however with their wonderful design and excellent workmanship.
