Casio Privia
The Privia series brings together Casio's outstanding sound quality and elegant design with a playing feel rarely found at this price point. The digital pianos are equipped with Casio's 88-key "Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II" mechanism and a synthetic ebony and ivory texture. The two models in the series are the PX-770 and PX-870. The PX-770 serves as the entry model in the series and impresses with the Multi-dimensional Mophing AiR sound engine and 128-note polyphony. The flagship PX-870 uses the same sound engine but offers 256-note polyphony and, in addition to damper noises (as with the PX-770), also simulates key press and release noises as well as four different grand lid types. Both versions feature 19 high-quality built-in voices, various effects and a built-in MIDI recorder. Sound reproduction on the PX-770 is handled by two 12 cm speakers powered by two 8-watt amplifiers. The PX-870 models, on the other hand, feature a total of four speakers—two 12 cm and two 4 cm—driven by two 20-watt amplifiers.
To ensure the digital pianos fit into any living environment, the instruments are available in three different finishes: classic black, white and brown.
