The guitars of the Indigo series are first-class, partially solid instruments that fully exploit the balanced acoustic potential of the solid cedar top. Their sound is enhanced by Furch's proprietary intonation process. The back and sides of each guitar are made of layered mahogany. The back is arched - thanks to this arching, no additional internal amplification is required. This construction has a positive effect on the resonance of the guitar and results in a strong and dynamic sound. The body of the instrument is coated with an open-pored coating that enhances the natural sound and appearance of the high-quality materials used. On the Indigo Plus models, the top is coated with Furch's patented Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which further increases the resonance. The natural beauty of the guitar is enhanced by the black walnut rose.
