The Dude! Cool name for an effect unit! Rockett Pedals one of the most mystical amps in the Boutique Amp scene has made the legendary Overdrive Special from Alexander "don't call me Howard" D. This amp has a distinctive sound - soft, sweet distortion sound but with bite and radiant, pearly clean sound. Anyone who has heard Robben Ford or Joe Bonamassa, knows what is meant. This amp is renowned as being an Amp for the "better paid" Rockstars but there have been pedals on the market to obtain this sound for quite some time now. The latest candidate is the Rockett "The Dude" which can simulate the legendary sound of the original convincingly. The Level potentiometer acts as a clean booster, Ratio governs the relationship between distortion and Gain Boost, Treble adjusts the high frequencies and deep is a kind of middle Contour regulation.
