Construction and features
The Player II Telecaster exudes timeless Fender charm, but under the hood it's built for today's players. Everything about the neck is sculpted for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood or maple fretboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The body is made of alder, ash or mahogany and is available in classic Fender finishes as well as archive colours never seen before. The Player Series Alnico V single-coil Tele® pickups deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids and tight lows that enhance any genre. The 3-way blade switch lets you dial in everything from a warm neck pickup chime to a cutting bridge pickup twang and everything in between, while a 6-saddle bridge, steel block saddles and ClassicGear™ tuners provide precise tuning stability and the flexibility to explore endless tonal possibilities.
