Electro-Harmonix was founded in 1968 by Mike Matthews and is known for groundbreaking innovations in analogue audio signal processing, digital delay, digital sampling and polyphonic real-time processing. EHX effect pedals are used by professional and amateur guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, producers, studio engineers, DJs, vocalists and a wide variety of musicians and instrumentalists.
Since the beginnings in 1968, when founder Mike Matthews ushered in the era of overdrive with the revolutionary LPB-1 Linear Power Booster, Electro-Harmonix has been at the forefront of electric guitar sound development. With a core product line of over 150 guitar effect pedals, from fuzz through delay and modulation to synthesiser pedals, the sound of Electro-Harmonix products is so compelling that they have been imitated and copied by several other pedal makers.
In addition to effects units, Electro-Harmonix also offers high-quality tubes for guitar amplifiers, Bluetooth headphones and speakers as well as various accessories for guitars and basses.

I play bass in a four piece with guitarist, drummer and vocals, sometimes there is a serious lack of middle when the guitarist plays a solo. I decided to try this pedal for some middle sounds via a second amp and A/B pedal. It isn't too good at tracking with the bass even when using an octave pedal "which I had read" but decided to give it a go. I ended up playing through it with my guitar which is certainly more suited to the tracking and gives nice tones, I now have the octave pedal down an octave and the guitar is used as the bass via the switchblade pedal and two amps, I think I have achieved the sound I wanted. However I do switch to the bass for some songs which are simply good bass songs but it's still to be tried out with the band as this lock down keeps us apart as yet In conclusion the pedal is really good with it's versatile sounds but is certainly not ideal for playing through with a bass and using an octave pedal or not it just doesn't track it well at all, it excels when using the bridge pick.

quand vous etes 2 gratteux et pas la place d'integrer un clavier dans votre groupe , ça permet d'ouvrir les possibilités , ça remplacera jamais un vrai clavieriste ,mais serieusement c'est une chose a repenser pour pas mal de groupe .
