Schagerl Killerqueen

The Killerqueen is a Bb flugelhorn developed in collaboration with Thomas Gansch. Similar to the Ganschhorn, the Killerqueen represents an innovative combination of rotary- and piston-valve design.

The result is a more precise response compared with a typical flugelhorn; the tone is, even in the lower registers, warm yet still projecting. The bell is made of gold brass and has a diameter of 150 millimetres, the valve casing is 10.6 millimetres. The leadpipe is made of nickel silver.
