Product information "Warm Audio WA-C1 Analog Chorus"
Warm Audio has made a good name for itself with replicas of legendary effects units – and now it's time for the next step: Warn Audio has taken the legendary gray chorus/vibrato pedal from 1976 and added a few contemporary updates that don't affect the characteristic sound. The circuitry is completely analog – no digital emulation, but the original circuitry with bucket brigade chips (here the current XVIVE MN 3007 BBDs), FET and MOSFET transistors and Texas Instruments premium audio op amps. In contrast to the 1976 ancestor, the input impedance can be switched from low to high Z to give high-impedance guitar signals an extra touch of shine. Another important update is the expanded settings for the chorus section: instead of the original intensity control, depth and rate can now be adjusted separately. The sound is exactly as you would expect – a superbly smooth, intense and floating chorus sound and rotary-style vibrato.
