The Pioneer XDJ-1000 Multi-Player is the first professional DJ deck with touch screen, a familiar club interface and a variety of features for creative performance. A large and full colour LCD touch display gives DJs intuitive controls at hand. The interactive user interface is divided into three areas (Browse, Play and Perform) to which you have direct access. Many functions are from the top of CDJ-2000NXS; including the 206 mm jog wheels, the slip mode, Quantize and beat-sync. Then there are the new features "Quantized Beat Jump" and "Loop Move" that help DJs to move spontaneously 1, 2 or 4 beats forward or backward in a loop.
DJs can use the virtual keyboard on the touch screen to enter specific keywords directly. The search results can be browsed intuitively via the touch screen or with the large rotary knob. The rekordbox software for PC and Mac, and the rekordbox app for iOS and Android devices DJs can also analyze and prepare tracks. The Pioneer XDJ-1000 provides all the information on the respective tracks, including the waveform display with zoom, the beat counter, phase display and the piotch height analysis. Moreover DJs get immediate access to prepared cues, loops and other custom settings. For a better overview, Playlists can even be colour-coded and the USB ports light in each color as soon as you connect a storage medium encoded there. So you immediately know which playlist is on each USB storage device.
