Kawai CA401 B
Product information "Kawai CA401 B"
The new entry model in the Kawai Concert Artist digital piano series.
As the successor to the CA49, the CA401 retains the popular Grand Feel Compact keyboard, but receives the new Shigeru Kawai EX Competition Grand Piano Sound with Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology. The grand used for the sampling is a one-off instrument that is used exclusively at international piano competitions and was specially prepared for this purpose. This new reproduction of the Shigeru Kawai flagship piano was recorded from the player position and is characterised by a brilliant, clear tone with an expressive attack.
The CA401's speaker system benefits not only from a new speaker tuning but also from a new power supply, which provides particularly stable performance and thus supports the amplifier in all situations for a clearer sound.
Also new is the integration of Bluetooth Audio in addition to Bluetooth MIDI. Both components use the latest Version 5 standard for lower latency, more stable connections and improved sound quality.
The CA401 features a new intuitive control-panel design and a 2.5" OLED display.
The cabinet design has also seen several updates. Notable here are the rear-set pedals for an ergonomic, comfortable position and the new music rest pins.
