Mike Fuller has revisited the good old treble booster – the secret weapon of guitarists like Rory Gallagher, Tony Iommi, Brian May, etc. So the Fulltone Custom Shop has created the CS-Ranger – a deluxe version of the legendary Range Master. There are 6 booster presets available: from full-range boost to mid boost to treble boost. There are also two Rangemaster settings on board. The CS-Ranger helps even the weakest amp to get going – depending on the setting, specific frequency ranges are boosted. The bias of the germanium transistor can be preset using the internal trim pot, which has a significant influence on the basic sound of the booster. The CS-Ranger can be operated with a standard 9-volt center-negative power supply.
